I haven't started working on this yet, but I did kit it up. The canvas is gorgeous and of very nice quality. I have only ever done DAC, so that is what I can compare it to. The canvas is actually thicker than DAC, which is nice. The legend is only on one side of the canvas. I wish it were on both, as I tend to rotate my canvas as I work. It came with a sticker with the symbols, which I love, because I use these to kit up.
The drills are where I have an issue. The regular drills are fairly standard. I didn't notice much trash there. However, this kit had a lot of specialty drills, and wow, there is a LOT of trash! There are small bits stuck to the bags, and there are so many drills without color or of odd sizes that I can see just during kitting up. I hope that there are enough extras to finish the canvas.
The colors are beautiful, however, and this will be gorgeous when done. I will do another review once it is complete.
Just not happy with the designs I received. I know that's part of the mystery, just the shop is full of absolutely beautiful art and both of my boxes were disappointing.
Out of everything on the website, I received the ONE thing here that I already have a version of. I'm a little disappointed but that is the risk I took doing a mystery. Probably won't do another mystery but may buy something else.
I ordered this along side another Mystery canvas. As with the other, there was no history to judge my taste by, and JGS nailed it with Midnight Ride. I am beyond in love.
I will start by saying this was my first purchase through Jaded Gem Shop, so there was no history to help guide what canvases would be right for me and you NAILED IT. I got A Mermaid Bath, and I can't wait to start her as a gift to my daughter.
